My name is Matt Derry and I am a software engineer by day and at night I don a mask and cape as Computer Scientist. I just finished earning a Master’s Degree in Computer Science from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and now I finally have time to work on my myriad projects (hence this website). I plan on continuing my line of research started with my thesis and this website is where I want to start cataloguing my successes (and failures) in my projects moving forward. My areas of interest are in Human-Computer Interaction, Artificial Intelligence (particularly artificial neural networks, self-orginization, spiking neural networks), and Ubiquitous Computing. So, naturally, my current job entails web programming for a real estate investment fund…go figure.
